llyn llydaw; this is where i decided to gain altitude at the start of the day, instead of staying low and climbing snowdon at the end; it didn't work out; i sweated like mad, drank all my water, and eventually slid down the side of the ridge and camped by glaslyn; wearing thermals in the sun and going the nutters' route with a full pack doesn't work
