I walked up the right hand side of Tettenhall Road into town today, to find some new ingredients to cook with. The sun had recently arrived. I noticed that the sweet shop at Newbridge was selling Loseley ice cream; perhaps we used to have that. I texted ma about it. And then I texted pa about the green TVR that burbled past me into town. The TVR made its return journey in short order.

There was a cute but rough customer paying as I was at Rosemary's. I had bought some red rice, sprouted wheat raisin bread and brown lentils.

I browsed Wilkinson for a while, to consider some materials for a magnetic loop antenna.

Pasta, ginger, cranberry sauce and capers were my profit at Sainsbury's.

At Asda, there was a tall model-type young woman, with a red skirt atop those long legs and accessories of similar hue. Again, I took a long time to evaluate my new eating options.

Across the road from the Asda car park, I thought that I had lost a tenner, having produced it by mistake, when a fiver was the target. I searched pockets before trying my favourite -- but most inaccessible -- option. I found it in my rucksack, down the side of a bag of lentils.

A razor-sharp little asian woman had just passed me, when I was ready to resume my course. I followed her to Newhampton Road, where she crossed left to the shop where I turned right for home. She was dressed in a petite black suit, with a red, patterned head scarf lost in her hair.

Pa had wished me to have an HPA for him, and I obliged. The barwoman (for whom I bought a drink, last time) dropped a Wye Valley glass onto her face and the floor, before getting on with the service of my pint. As my drink was settling, two lively young women ordered a pint of guest and something soft.

The women took the table next to mine in the garden, and prattled inoffensively. As I was preparing to photograph pears, a gang asked me to take their picture; it came out well enough.

Of all the darlings and totty I saw today, the best smile came from a woman with long brown curls, who I think might be the mother of the darling toddler (from a previous trip). It was really nice.
